Nightsound Show relies on submissions and listener support.
We are extremely grateful for your consideration!
SUBMITTING MUSIC - IMPORTANT NOTICE
DOWNLOAD
THE PODCAST RELEASE FORM HERE!
You must snail mail us a signed copy
of the podcast release waiver. You only have to do this
once for any future contributions to the show. As much as
we hate the formality, it protects the show from being shut
down by royalty protection agencies that aren't paying you
anything even if they do represent you. By signing the waiver,
you agree to give us permission to play your material on
the podcast for a promotional trade ONLY. We'll give you
written online credit, as well as credit on the audio of
the show itself. We want this to be about YOU.
Even if we agree that current laws
are outdated and obsolete, you agree to assume full responsibility
for any copyright or FCC infringement when you submit materal
to the Nightsound Show. We take this position because we
want the show to continue to help independent artists share
their material in our archives and in future podcasts for
a long time.
MUSIC/AUDIO
SUBMISSION FORMAT
If you SNAIL MAIL us a submission,
it MUST be in .wav, .aiff or .mp3 formats.
If you EMAIL us a submittion, it MUST be in .mp3 ONLY.
CONTENT
Due to when our broadcast airs, you
can have profanity in your music submissions. However, due
to the stupid FCC, you CANNOT have profanity in other spoken
or written submissions.
There can be NO PERSONAL ATTACKS
OR THREATS of any kind included in the content of your work.
We absolutely love audio recordings
of your voice reading your own written materials! Please
feel free to send us these submissions (under the aforementioned
guidelines). Or, we can read your written material for you.
